We are APOTUR

The Peruvian Association of Incoming and Domestic Tourism Operators (APOTUR) was founded on the 5th of April 1978 at the national level as a civil association of private law, without profit aims, that gathers mainly the natural and legal persons specialized in the Incoming and Domestic Tourism carried out in Peru, as well as the institutions, associations and national and/or foreign entities that are directly related to the objectives of the Association, as well as natural persons whose activity, without being directly related to the sector, can contribute to our objectives, associations and national and/or foreign entities that are directly related to the objectives of the Association, as well as natural persons whose activity, without being directly related to the sector, can contribute to our objectives, such as environmentalists, artistic, archaeological and scientific personalities. It was officially recognised by Vice-Ministerial Resolution No. 015-87 ICTI/TUR dated 18th March 1987.

Mission

To promote the development of tourism in Peru, encouraging its strengthening in the public and private sector, creating tourism awareness through the implementation of projects and policies that promote the increase of tourism flow to Peru.

To strengthen and consolidate our image as a leading association in Incoming and Domestic Tourism, being the official spokesperson for tour operators at national and international level.

  • To carry out the necessary coordination and/or negotiations with organisations, institutions, natural and/or legal persons, public and/or private, national and/or foreign, related to incoming and domestic tourism activities.
  • To coordinate and channel the actions of its members.
  • To make representations to organisations, institutions, natural and/or legal persons, public and/or private, national and/or foreign.
  • To formulate and participate in public statements when circumstances so require.
  • APOTUR brings together the leading national inbound and domestic tourism companies.
  • It channels the largest flow of organised inbound and domestic tourism.
  • It brings together tour operators with proven experience, reliability and professionalism.
  • It acts as a link between the organised private sector and government bodies.
